People who smoke and vape are at more risk of serious disease from COVID-19. A new free cessation program Quit Partner from the MN Department of Health launched on April 1. It replaces QUITPLAN but offers similar services and some new ones too.

Quit Partner: is the family of free commercial tobacco programs available online, by phone and by mail launched on April 1, 2020 by the Minnesota Department of Health. The cessation programs help people who want to quit smoking, vaping, chewing or using other commercial tobacco products. Quit Partner offers specialized programs for people living with mental illnesses or substance use disorders, pregnant or post-partum women, and vaping support for ages 13-17.
